(Undergraduate/Scholarship)
Purpose: A $1,000 scholarship will be awarded to a northern Ohio high school senior who plans to pursue a newspaper journalism career. Applicants must be enrolled in a high school in Cuyahoga, Lorain, Huron, Erie, Wood, Geauge, Sandusky, Ottawa, or Lucas County. The applicant must be enrolled in an accredited Ohio college or university at the time the award is distributed. A minimum high school GPA of 3.0 (B) is required. Focus: Journalism Qualif.: High school students considered. Award available to U.S. citizens.

Applicants must be African-American, Hispanic, Asian-American or American-Indian. Focus: Journalism Qualif.: High school students considered. Award available to U.S. citizens. Award available to the following races: Native American/Eskimo; Asian; African American; Hispanic.

Purpose: A $1,500 scholarship will be awarded to a student who is enrolled in an Ohio college or university who is majoring in journalism or equivalent degree program. Applicants are not limited to, but preference will be given to students demonstrating a career commitment to newspaper journalism. A minimum GPA of 2.5 (C++FA) is required. Applicants must be sophomore, junior, or senior. Focus: Journalism Qualif.: High school students not considered. Award available to U.S. citizens.
