Ohio National Guard Scholarship Program

(Four Year College, Two Year College, University, Vocational/Occupational/Scholarship)

Purpose: Scholarships are for undergraduate studies at an approved Ohio postsecondary institution. Applicants must enlist for six years of Selective Service Reserve Duty in the Ohio National Guard. Scholarship pays 100% instructional and general fees for public institutions and an average of cost of public schools is available for private schools. Must be 18 years of age or older. Award is renewable. Deadlines: July 1, November 1, February 1, April 1. Qualif.: Applicant must be: age 18 or older. High school students not considered. Award available to U.S. citizens. Award available to members of the following branches of the military: Air National Guard, Army National Guard.

Funds Avail.: Minimum no. of awards: 3500. Maximum no. of awards: 8000. Maximum award amount: $3000. No. and Amount Awarded Last Calendar Year: 6000 scholarship(s), totalling $12,000,000.
