Chief Manuelito Scholarship Program
(Four Year College, Two Year College, University/Scholarship)
Purpose: One-time, $7000 scholarship available to a high-achieving Navajo high school student. Minimum 3.0 GPA and 21 ACT score required. (SAT scores will be converted.) Deadline: June 25. Must submit letter of college acceptance and Certificate of Indian Blood (CIB). High school student must have completed one unit of Navajo language and one-half unit of Navajo government courses. Qualif.: Applicant must be: full-time student. High school students not considered. Award available to U.S. citizens. Award available to the following races: Native American/Eskimo.
