Purpose: Fellowship will support graduate students in biological and environmental research-funded collaborative global change research involving universities and national laboratories. The fellowships, renewable for up to three years, will support doctoral candidates in various global change research areas. Applicants are required to submit a five-page description of proposed research, letters of recommendation from two mentors and an outside individual, undergraduate and graduate transcripts. Applicants must have completed at least one year of graduate school. Application deadline is February 1. Focus: Meteorology/Atmospheric Science; Environmental Science; Physical Sciences and Math Qualif.: Applicant must be: full-time student. High school students not considered. Award available to U.S. citizens.
