Coastal Management Fellowship
(Postgraduate/Fellowship)
Purpose: Two-year fellowship matches postgraduate students with state coastal zone programs to work on projects proposed by the state. Any student who will shortly complete a master's, doctoral, or professional degree program in natural resource management or environmental-related studies at an accredited U.S. university is eligible. Students from a broad range of environmental programs are encouraged to apply. Application packages must be submitted to nearest Sea Grant Program office. Focus: Natural Resources Qualif.: High school students not considered. Award available to U.S. citizens.

Pacific Islands Assistantship Program

Purpose: Two-year assistantship program matches highly qualified recent recipients of master's, doctoral, and professional degrees with hosts from each of the four Pacific Island coastal zone management (CZM) programs: Hawaii, American Samoa, Guam, and the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands. Open to U.S. citizens. Focus of projects will change according to needs of the programs, main focus will be in geographic information systems (GIS). Focus: Geography; Natural Resources; Surveying; Surveying Technology, Cartography, or Geographic Information Science Qualif.: Applicant must be: full-time student. High school students not considered. Award available to U.S. citizens.
