Purpose: Award for outstanding high school seniors accepted to U.S. college or university. Based on SAT score and high school average. Minimum 3.5 GPA required; minimum 1250 combined SAT score from one sitting. Must be legal resident of New York and a U.S. citizen. Renewable for up to four years. General Education Degree holders eligible. Qualif.: Applicant must be: full-time student. High school students considered. Award available to U.S. citizens.

Purpose: Scholarship for New York resident beginning or already enrolled in an approved medical or dental school in New York. Up to 80 awards in medicine and 20 in dentistry. Must be U.S. citizen or permanent resident. Award recipients must agree to practice in designated areas of New York. Priority given to economically disadvantaged members of minority groups underrepresented in the professions. Focus: Health and Medical Sciences; Dental Health/Services Qualif.: Applicant must be: full-time student. High school students not considered. Award available to U.S. citizens. Award available to the following races: Native American/Eskimo; African American; Hispanic.

Award available to U.S. citizens.

Award recipients must agree to practice upon licensure in their profession in New York for 12 months for each annual payment received. Priority given to economically disadvantaged members of minority groups underrepresented in the professions. Focus: Architecture; Law/Legal Services; Nursing; Accounting; Landscape Architecture; Engineering/Technology; Dental Health/Services; Interior Design; Psychology; Pharmacy; Health and Medical Sciences; Social Services Qualif.: Applicant must be: full-time student. Award available to U.S. citizens.
