Robert C. Byrd Honors Scholarship Program - Nevada Department of Education
(Four Year College, Two Year College, University, Vocational/Occupational/Scholarship)
Purpose: Award for senior graduating from public or private Nevada high school. Must be Nevada resident and Nevada High School Scholars Program recipient. Renewable award of $1500. No application necessary. Nevada scholars are chosen from a database supplied by ACT and SAT. Please request SAT score be mailed to 2707 on your registration form. SAT scores of 1100 and above qualify as initial application. ACT score is automatically submitted for a score of 25 or greater. GPA (unweighted) must be 3.5 or higher. Qualif.: Applicant must be: full-time student. High school students considered.

One-time award of up to $5000. Contact financial aid office at local college. Qualif.: High school students not considered. Award available to U.S. citizens.
