Purpose: Prize for the best soloist in competition. Winner will perform with the National Symphony Orchestra in Washington, D.C. Must be a college student attending school or residing in D.C. metropolitan area. $15 application fee. Visit Web site for guidelines and deadlines. Pianists and instrumentalists must be no older than 23, singers must be no older than 26. Qualif.: High school students not considered. Award available to U.S. citizens.
