Purpose: Student must be a U.S. citizen; African-American, Hispanic, Native-American, or Asian with a demonstrated commitment to medically underserved areas; committed to working with underserved populations upon completion of doctorate; and willing to complete relevant dissertation research. Student must also be accepted or enrolled in a doctoral program in one of the following participating schools: The Heller Graduate School at Brandeis University, the Joseph L.
