Avfuel Michigan Business Aviation Scholarship

(Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: Award for $500 for students pursuing an aviation degree at one of the following eligible schools: Andrews University, Eastern Michigan University, Lansing Community College, Northwestern Michigan College, or Western Michigan University. Must be a U.S. citizen, have a 3.0 minimum GPA. Include with application: 250 word essay describing the applicant's interest in aviation and goals for a career in the business aviation industry and a letter of recommendation from the aviation department faculty at the institution at which the applicant is enrolled. NBAA International Operators Scholarship

(Four Year College, Two Year College, University, Vocational/Occupational/Scholarship)

Purpose: NBAA International Operators Committee is dedicated to promoting education and training for individuals to increase safety and professionalism. One-time $5000 scholarship offered to one or more recipients for this purpose. Scholarship will be awarded at the Annual International Operators Conference. Include with application: 500 word essay explaining how this scholarship will help the applicant achieve their international aviation career goals, statement of the funds required to achieve these goals, and at least one professional letter of recommendation, preferably from an NBAA Member Company employee. Purpose: One-time $1000 scholarship for students officially enrolled in NBAA/UAA (National Business Aviation Association/University Aviation Association) programs. Must be U.S. citizen, officially enrolled in an aviation-related program with 3.0 minimum GPA. Include with application: 250-word essay describing the applicant's interest and goals for a career in the business aviation industry; letter of recommendation from member of aviation department faculty at institution where applicant is enrolled. NBAA Lawrence Ginocchio Aviation Scholarship

(Four Year College, Two Year College, University/Scholarship)

Purpose: One-time $5000 scholarship for students officially enrolled in NBAA/UAA (National Business Aviation Association/University Aviation Association) programs. Must be officially enrolled in aviation-related program with 3.0 minimum GPA. Include with application: a 500 to 1,000 word essay describing interest in and goals for a career in the business aviation industry while demonstrating strength of character. Must also have 2 letters of recommendation, including one from member of aviation department faculty at institution where applicant is enrolled. A letter of recommendation from an NBAA Member Company representative is encouraged. NBAA William M. Fanning Maintenance Scholarship

(Four Year College, Two Year College, University, Vocational/Occupational/Scholarship)

Purpose: One-time award given to two students pursuing careers as maintenance technicians. One award will benefit a student who is currently enrolled in an accredited airframe and powerplant (A&P) program at an approved FAR Part 147 school. The second award will benefit an individual who is not currently enrolled but has been accepted into an A&P program. Include with application: a 250-word essay describing applicant's interest in and goals for a career in the aviation maintenance field. A letter of recommendation from an NBAA Member Company representative is encouraged. Focus: Aviation/Aerospace Qualif.: Applicant must be: full-time student. High school students not considered. Award available to U.S. citizens.

Must be U.S. citizen, officially enrolled in aviation-related program with 3.0 minimum GPA. A letter of recommendation from an NBAAA Member Company representative is encouraged.
