NAIW College Scholarship

(Four Year College, University/Scholarship)

Purpose: Award available to student seeking bachelor degree or higher with a major or minor in insurance and/or risk management and/or actuarial science. Must have completed two insurance, actuarial or risk management-related courses. Must be completing second year of college and have a minimum 3.0 GPA. Deadline is March 1. Focus: Insurance and Actuarial Science Qualif.: High school students not considered.

NAIW Education Foundation Professional Scholarship

(Four Year College, Postgraduate, Two Year College, University, Vocational/Occupational/Scholarship)

Purpose: Professional scholarships are given to applicants with a minimum of two years of experience in the insurance industry. They do not currently need to be employed in the industry. Recipients need to be engaged in a course of study designed to improve their knowledge and skills in performing their employment responsibilities. Scholarships are given three times a year. Application deadlines are March 1, September 1, December 1. Focus: Business/Consumer Services; Insurance and Actuarial Science Qualif.: High school students not considered. Award available to U.S. citizens.

Funds Avail.: Minimum no. of awards: 10. Maximum no. of awards: 20. Minimum award amount: $100. Maximum award amount: $2000.
