Guggenheim Fellowship

(Postgraduate/Fellowship)

Purpose: One-time award for pre-doctoral or postdoctoral research into, and writing about, the history of aviation and space flight. In some years funding may permit more than one fellowship. For a 12-month term, stipend for postdoctoral fellows is $30,000; $20,000 for pre-doctoral fellows. Prorated for shorter terms. See Web site at http://www.nasm.si.edu for further details. Ramsey Fellowship in Naval Aviation History

(Postgraduate/Fellowship)

Purpose: One-time award open to all candidates who can provide a critical analytical approach to U.S. Naval flight history, including Navy and Marine Corps aviation. Good writing skills are required. An advanced degree is not necessary. Residence in the Washington, D.C., metropolitan area during the twelve-month term of the fellowship is a requirement. Verville Fellowship

(Postgraduate/Fellowship)

Purpose: One-time award open to all candidates who can provide a critical analytical approach to major trends, developments, and accomplishments in some aspect of aviation or space history. Good writing skills are required. An advanced degree is not a requirement.
