Mississippi Press Association Education Foundation Scholarship

(Four Year College, Two Year College, University/Scholarship)

Purpose: The Mississippi Press Association Education Foundation annually offers $1,000 ($500 per semester) scholarships to qualified students enrolled in print journalism, and who are residents of Mississippi. The recipient who maintains a 3.0 GPA, and submits proof of summer internship, will be eligible to continue the scholarship for his/her following year. Total value of the scholarship can be as much as $4,000 when awarded to an upcoming freshman who remains qualified throughout their four years of print journalism education. Focus: Journalism Qualif.: Applicant must be: full-time student. High school students not considered. Award available to U.S. citizens.
