Veterans Dependents Educational Benefits-Maine

(University, Vocational/Occupational/Scholarship)

Purpose: Tuition waiver award for dependents or spouses of veterans who were prisoners of war, missing in action, or permanently disabled as a result of service. Veteran must have been Maine resident at service entry for five years preceding application. For use at Maine University system, technical colleges and Maine Maritime. Must be high school graduate. Must submit birth certificate and proof of VA disability of veteran. Award renewable for eight semesters for those under 22 years of age. Qualif.: Applicant must be: age 21 or younger No. and Amount Awarded Last Calendar Year: 157 scholarship(s). To Apply: Required: application form.
