Purpose: One-time award for students in California medical schools studying pediatrics and planning to be general practitioners. Award amounts depend on funds available and number of requests. California residence not required. Award for non-U.S. citizens only if they will be practicing medicine in the U.S. The financial aid office of each medical school distributes application forms to students regarded as potential candidates. Focus: Health and Medical Sciences Qualif.: Applicant must be: full-time student. High school students not considered. Award available to U.S. citizens.
