Knights of Ak-Sar-Ben Leadership Scholarship

(Four Year College, University/Scholarship)

Purpose: Scholarships are awarded to outstanding and talented graduates of "Heartland" (Nebraska and Western Iowa) high schools. Must be a graduating high school senior with a minimum 2.5 GPA, who plans on attending a college or university within the Ak-Sar-Ben region. Funds Avail.: Minimum no. of awards: 20. Minimum award amount: $10000. No. and Amount Awarded Last Calendar Year: 19 scholarship(s), totalling $190,000. Knights of Ak-Sar-Ben One-Year Community College Scholarship.

Purpose: Scholarships available to applicants from Nebraska and Western Iowa (Heartland) who plan to attend a community college in the region. Applications will be due into the office of the community college to which the student is applying by March 19.
