(Four Year College, Two Year College, University, Vocational/Occupational/Scholarship)

Purpose: Award provides exemption from tuition for spouse or child of permanently disabled member of the National Guard, war veteran, prisoner of war, or member of the Armed Services missing in action. Disability must have been sustained while in service; if not, time of service must have been during wartime. Applicant is eligible for 36 months of training, training until receipt of degree, or training until 23rd birthday, whichever comes first. There is no age limit for spouse. Must attend a school funded by the KY Dept. of Ed. Veteran must be a resident of Kentucky or if deceased have been a resident. Also includes non-wartime veterans. Qualif.: High school students not considered. Award available to U.S. citizens. To Apply: Required: application form. (Four Year College, Two Year College, University, Vocational/Occupational/Scholarship)

Purpose: Award provides exemption from matriculation or tuition fees for dependents, widows or widowers of members of the armed forces or members of the National Guard killed while in service or having died as a result of a service-connected disability incurred while serving during a wartime period. Veteran's home of record upon entry into the Armed Forces must have been KY. Applicant is eligible to get undergraduate/graduate degrees. Must attend a state-supported postsecondary institution in Kentucky. Qualif.: High school students not considered. Award available to U.S. citizens. (Four Year College, Two Year College, University, Vocational/Occupational/Scholarship)

Purpose: Award provides waiver of tuition for child of a veteran, regardless of age, who has acquired a disability as a direct result of service, as a member of the National Guard or Reserve Component. Must have served on state active duty, active duty for training, inactive duty training, or active duty with the Armed Forces. Veteran must have been a resident of Kentucky. Must attend a state-supported post secondary institution in Kentucky. Qualif.: Applicant must be: full-time student. High school students not considered. Award available to U.S. citizens.
