Morton A. Gibson Memorial Scholarship

(Four Year College/Scholarship)

Purpose: Awarded to high school seniors who have completed significant volunteer services within the local Jewish community. Must be a Jewish resident of the greater Washington metropolitan area. Must be a U.S. citizen or working towards citizenship. Must be accepted into an accredited four-year undergraduate program on a full-time basis. Qualif.: Applicant must be: full-time student. High school students considered. Award available to U.S. citizens. Award available to members of the following religions: Jewish.

Purpose: One-time award available to full-time undergraduate student. Must be a resident of the Washington Metropolitan area. Must be a U.S. citizen or working towards citizenship. Qualif.: Applicant must be: full-time student. High school students considered. Award available to U.S. citizens.

Jewish Social Service Agency of Metropolitan Washington Max and Emmy Dreyfuss Undergraduate Scholarship Fund

(Four Year College, University/Scholarship)

Purpose: One-time award given to a full-time Jewish student, no older than 30, from the metropolitan Washington, D.C. area. Primarily based on financial need. Student must be entering or already enrolled in an accredited four-year undergraduate degree program. Special consideration given to refugees. Recipients are required to complete a questionnaire describing their educational experience. Student must be U.S. citizen or working towards citizenship. Qualif.: Applicant must be: age 30 or younger , full-time student. High school students not considered. Award available to U.S. citizens. Award available to members of the following religions: Jewish.

Funds Avail.: Minimum no. of awards: 8. Maximum no. of awards: 10. Minimum award amount: $1500. Maximum award amount: $2000. Must be Jewish, under the age of 30, and a resident of the Washington metropolitan area. Must be a U.S. citizen or working towards citizenship. Decision is based primarily on financial need. Qualif.: Applicant must be: age 29 or younger , full-time student. High school students not considered. Award available to U.S. citizens. Award available to members of the following religions: Jewish.
