Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Chicago Academic Scholarship Program

(Four Year College, University/Scholarship)

Purpose: Available for Jewish students only in the Chicago metropolitan area. Award available for undergraduates who have entered their junior year in career-specific programs which require no postgraduate education for professional level employment, or students enrolled in graduate or professional school. Students in a vocational program with a specific educational goal in the helping professions also are eligible. Focus: Health and Medical Sciences; Dental Health/Services; Social Services; Education; Psychology; Religion/Theology; Law/Legal Services; Engineering/Technology; Physical Sciences and Math Qualif.: Applicant must be: full-time student. High school students not considered. Award available to U.S. citizens. Award available to members of the following religions: Jewish.

Funds Avail.: Minimum no. of awards: 75. Minimum award amount: $5000. No. and Amount Awarded Last Calendar Year: 85 scholarship(s), totalling $500,000.
