Purpose: Members of the Junior Chamber of Commerce organization (Jaycees) or immediate family members or descendents of a former Jaycee member are eligible to apply. Applicants must possess academic potential, leadership qualities, and show financial need. Application deadline is March 1. Send $5 application fee and self-addressed stamped envelope. Must be U.S. citizen. Qualif.: High school students not considered. Award available to U.S. citizens.

Purpose: One (1) scholarship awarded annually. Available to an active member of the Jaycees who wishes to return to a college or university to complete his or her formal education. Applicant must be a citizen of the United States, possess academic potential and leadership qualities, and show financial need. The scholarship is a one-time award of $2,500 sent directly to the recipient's college or university of choice. Qualif.: Applicant must be: 21-40 years old. High school students not considered. Award available to U.S. citizens.
