Japanese Studies Scholarship
(University/Scholarship)
Purpose: One-time award open to university-enrolled students ages 18 through 29. (university must be outside Japan). One-year course designed to develop Japanese language aptitude and knowledge of the country's culture, areas which the applicant must currently be studying. Scholarship comprises transportation, accommodations, medical expenses, and monthly and arrival allowances. Contact for more information. Research Student Scholarship
(Postgraduate, University/Scholarship)
Purpose: Award open to those who want to pursue graduate studies in any major at a Japanese university. Must be less than 35 years of age. Ability to speak Japanese is not required; however, must be willing to study and receive instruction in the language.
