Ruth Clark Scholarship

(Four Year College, University/Scholarship)

Purpose: Scholarship available to students studying design at an accredited college or design school with a focus on residential furniture design. Applicant must submit 5 examples of original designs, 3 of which must be residential furniture examples. May be CD-ROM (pdf format only), slides, photographs, or copies of drawings no larger than 8 1/2"x11". Include 5 sets of each design example with a short description of each illustration. Focus: Industrial Design; Arts Qualif.: Applicant must be: full-time student. High school students not considered. Award available to U.S. citizens.

IFDA Student Scholarship

(Four Year College, Two Year College, University, Vocational/Occupational/Scholarship)

Purpose: Scholarship available to students studying interior design and the related fields of the home furnishings and design industry. Award of $1,500 to full-time student. Applicant must be IFDA student member. Applicant must submit 300-500 word essay explaining why they joined IFDA, discuss future plans and goals, and indicate why they are deserving of this award. Decision based upon student's academic achievement, awards and accomplishments, future plans and goals, and letter of recommendation. Focus: Interior Design; Trade/Technical Specialties Qualif.: Applicant must be: full-time student. High school students not considered. Award available to U.S. citizens.

Focus: Interior Design Qualif.: Applicant must be: full-time student. High school students not considered. Award available to U.S. citizens.
