(Four Year College, University/Scholarship)

Purpose: This scholarship is for a student studying in the field of education or an education-related degree program, which requires certification from Illinois State Board of Education. Must be an Illinois resident. Must rank in upper quarter of class. Award for high school seniors graduating from any Illinois public high school. Applications available at every public high school in the counseling office/career center starting in January, or see Web site: http://www.illinoispta.org. Focus: Education Qualif.: Applicant must be: full-time student. High school students considered. Award available to U.S. citizens.
