Idaho Governor's Challenge Scholarship
(Four Year College, Two Year College, University, Vocational/Occupational/Scholarship)
Purpose: Renewable scholarship available to Idaho residents enrolled full-time in an undergraduate academic or vocational-technical program at an eligible Idaho public or private college or university. Minimum GPA: 2.8. Merit-based award. Must be a high school senior and U.S. citizen to apply. Number of awards is conditional on the availability of funds. Must have a demonstrated commitment to public service. Qualif.: Applicant must be: full-time student. High school students considered. Award available to U.S. citizens.

Purpose: Renewable award for Idaho residents who are disabled or members of a minority group and have financial need. Must attend one of eight postsecondary institutions in the state for undergraduate study. Deadlines vary by institution. Must be a U.S. citizen and be a graduate of an Idaho high school. Contact college financial aid office. Qualif.: Applicant must be: full-time student. High school students not considered. Award available to U.S. citizens. Award intended for the blind, hearing impaired, physically handicapped. Award available to the following races: Native American/Eskimo; African American; Hispanic.

Purpose: Renewable award available to Idaho residents who are graduating high school seniors. Must attend an approved Idaho institute of higher education full-time. Based on class rank (must be verified by school official), GPA, and ACT scores. Professional-technical student applicants must take COMPASS. Qualif.: Applicant must be: full-time student. High school students considered. Award available to U.S. citizens.

Idaho Promise Category B Scholarship Program
(Four Year College, Two Year College, University, Vocational/Occupational/Scholarship)
Purpose: Available to Idaho residents entering college for the first time prior to the age of 22. Must have completed high school or its equivalent in Idaho and have a minimum GPA of 3.0 or an ACT score of 20 or higher. Scholarship limited to two years or 4 semesters. Qualif.: Applicant must be: age 21 or younger , full-time student. High school students not considered. Award available to U.S. citizens.
