Herbert Hoover Presidential Library Association Travel Grant Program

(Four Year College, Postgraduate, University/Grant)

Purpose: One-time competitive travel grants help graduate and post-graduate researchers travel to West Branch, Iowa, to conduct research in the archives of the Herbert Hoover Presidential Library Association. Qualif.: High school students not considered. Award available to U.S. citizens.

Herbert Hoover Uncommon Student Award

(Four Year College, Two Year College/Scholarship)

Purpose: Only juniors in an Iowa high school or home school program may apply. Grades and test scores are not evaluated. Applicants are chosen on the basis of project proposals they submit. Those chosen complete their project and make a presentation. All receive $750. Three are chosen for $5000 award. Qualif.: Applicant must be: full-time student. High school students considered. Award available to U.S. citizens.
