(Four Year College, Two Year College/Scholarship)

Purpose: Award for residents of West Virginia who are majoring in education. Must be an undergraduate at a college or university in West Virginia. Award based on financial need. May apply for only two Foundation scholarships but will only be chosen for one. Focus: Education Qualif.: All scholarships are for high school seniors. You must be a West Virginia resident. Purpose: Renewable award for West Virginia residents who demonstrate academic excellence and financial need and who are enrolled in an undergraduate program in any accredited college or university. Kid's Chance of West Virginia Scholarship

(Four Year College, Two Year College, University, Vocational/Occupational/Scholarship)

Purpose: Awarded to children (between the ages of 16-25) of a parent(s) injured in a WV work-related accident. Preference shall be given to students with financial need, academic performance, leadership abilities, demonstrated and potential contributions to school and community who are pursuing any field of study in any accredited trade, vocational school, college, or university. May apply for two Foundation scholarships but will only be chosen for one. Qualif.: Applicant must be: 16-25 years old, full-time student. All scholarships are for high school seniors. You must be a West Virginia resident. Award available to U.S. citizens.

For purposes of this Fund, science shall include chemistry, physics, biology and other scientific fields. Scholarships are awarded for one or more years. Applicant must have parent who is employed or has been previously employed by the coal industry in southern West Virginia. Include employer's name and address. May apply for two Foundation scholarships but will only be chosen for one. Scholarships are awarded on a financial need basis and may be awarded for one or more years. Open to employees and family members of station employees that are members of the West Virginia Broadcasters Association. May apply for two Foundation scholarships but will only be chosen for one. Focus: Communications; TV/Radio Broadcasting; Trade/Technical Specialties; Foreign Language Qualif.: All scholarships are for high school seniors. You must be a West Virginia resident. West Virginia Golf Association Fund

(Four Year College, University/Scholarship)

Purpose: Awarded to students at any accredited West Virginia college or university. This fund is open to individuals who meet the following criteria: 1) have played golf in WV as an amateur for recreation or competition or 2) have been or are presently employed in WV as a caddie, groundskeeper, bag boy, etc. Must also include a reference by a coach, golf professional or employer and an essay explaining how the game of golf has made an impact in applicant's life. Scholarships are awarded with a commitment of one year. May apply for two Foundation scholarships but will only be chosen for one. Qualif.: Applicant must be: full-time student.
