Georgia Trust for Historic Preservation Scholarship

(Four Year College, University/Scholarship)

Purpose: Each year, the Trust awards two $1,000 scholarships to encourage the study of historic preservation and related fields. Recipients are chosen on the basis of leadership and academic achievement. Applicants must be residents of Georgia enrolled in an accredited Georgia institution. A GPA of 3.0 is required. Focus: Historic Preservation and Conservation Qualif.: Applicant must be: full-time student. High school students not considered. Award available to U.S. citizens.

Purpose: A $3500 fellowship is given to an architecture student, architecture intern or a recently-registered architect residing, studying or working in Georgia. Proposed projects should involve the study of an aspect of classic architecture. The deadline is February 28. Focus: Architecture Qualif.: High school students not considered. Award available to U.S. citizens.
