National Leadership Development Grants

(Four Year College, Two Year College, University, Vocational/Occupational/Grant)

Purpose: Award for racial and ethnic minority members of the United Methodist Church who are pursuing undergraduate study. Must be U.S. citizen, resident alien, or reside in U.S. as a refugee. Renewable award of $500 to $5000. Deadline: May 31. Qualif.: Applicant must be: full-time student. High school students not considered. Award available to U.S. citizens. Award available to members of the following religions: Methodist. Award available to the following races: Native American/Eskimo; Asian; African American; Hispanic.

Funds Avail.: Minimum no. of awards: 75. Minimum award amount: $500. Maximum award amount: $5000. No. and Amount Awarded Last Calendar Year: 135 grant(s), totalling $176,620.
