Purpose: Renewable award for U.S. citizen who is a junior, senior, undergraduate, or baccalaureate degree recipient in an accredited engineering discipline. Must be American-Indian, Black American, Hispanic-American, or Mexican-American. Master's degree must be in same engineering discipline as bachelor's degree. Includes summer internship. Minimum 2.8 GPA required for master's students. Focus: Engineering/Technology; Agriculture; Biology; Civil Engineering; Computer Science/Data Processing; Architecture; Earth Science; Mechanical Engineering; Materials Science, Engineering, and Metallurgy; Nuclear Science; Electrical Engineering/Electronics Qualif.: Applicant must be: full-time student. High school students not considered. Award available to U.S. citizens. Award available to the following races: Native American/Eskimo; African American; Hispanic.
