Florida Bankers Educational Foundation Scholarship/Loan
(Four Year College/Loan)
Purpose: Program has assisted over 2000 students since 1956 and is designed to support the education of future and/or current Florida bankers. Must be enrolled for at least 12 credit hours per year at FBEF participating Florida university. Loan to be paid back if degree is not obtained. Must also work for one year in a Florida bank upon graduation for loan to be forgiven. Award is up to $4000 for undergraduates and up to $5000 for graduate study. Focus: Business/Consumer Services Qualif.: High school students not considered. Award available to U.S. citizens. Award available to employees or relatives of employees within the following industries: banking.
