Exploration Fund Grants

(Grant)

Purpose: Grants awarded primarily to graduate students in amounts up to $5000 for the support of exploration and field research. Applications will be judged on the scientific and practical merit of the proposal, the competence of the investigator, and the appropriateness of the budget. Must include signed liability waiver. Focus: Archaeology; Area/Ethnic Studies; Earth Science; Social Sciences; Natural Sciences; Anthropology; Environmental Science Qualif.: High school students not considered.

Youth Activity Fund

(Undergraduate/Grant)

Purpose: Award given to college students or high school students pursuing a research project in the field of science. Applicants must have two letters of recommendation, one-page description of project, and a budget or plan. Focus: Science, Technology, and Society; Natural Sciences Qualif.: High school students not considered.
