Elks Emergency Educational Grants
(Four Year College, Two Year College, University, Vocational/Occupational/Grant)
Purpose: Grant available to children of Elks who are deceased or totally incapacitated. Applicants for the one-year, renewable awards must be unmarried, under the age of 23, be a full-time undergraduate student, and demonstrate financial need. Contact ENF for an application. Deadline between July 1 and December 31 of the academic year for which assistance is desired. Visit Web site at http://www.elks.org (keyword: scholarship). Qualif.: Applicant must be: age 22 or younger , single, full-time student. High school students not considered. Award available to U.S. citizens.

Elks Most Valuable Student Contest
(Four Year College, Two Year College, University/Scholarship)
Purpose: Five hundred four-year awards are allocated for graduating high school seniors nationally by state quota. Based on scholarship, leadership, and financial need. Renewable awards with two first place awards at $60,000, two second place awards at $40,000 and two third place awards at $20,000. The awards will be distributed over four years. The remainder of the 494 awards will continue to be worth $4000 over four years. Applications available at local Elks Lodge, at the Web site (http://www.elks.org) (keyword: scholarship) or by sending a SASE to the Foundation. Qualif.: Applicant must be: full-time student. High school students considered. Award available to U.S. citizens.
