Herbert L. Cox Memorial Scholarship

(Four Year College, University/Scholarship)

Purpose: Award for students accepted by or attending an accredited college or university in pursuit of a degree leading to an aviation profession. Must show financial need. Self-supporting students encouraged to apply; recipients encouraged to reapply annually. One award, expected to exceed $500 annually. Must submit two or more recommendations. Purpose: Award for individuals active in recreational aviation endeavors to further their aviation education or training. Two awards in the amount of $500 each. Purpose: Renewable scholarship of $1000 for student enrolled in accredited institution pursuing a degree in aerospace engineering or aeronautical engineering. Awarded to an individual who is seeking a major and declares an intention to pursue a professional career in engineering, mathematics, or the physical/biological sciences.
