DeVry Community College Scholar Award

(University/Scholarship)

Purpose: Scholarship designed for students who have earned a career-oriented associate degree. Two students in each community college in Colorado, Illinois, and Texas are awarded $1,000 per semester scholarships for up to 4 semesters toward the DeVry's bachelor degree program of their choice. Qualif.: Applicant must be: full-time student. High school students not considered. Award available to U.S. citizens.

DeVry Community College Scholarships

Purpose: Scholarships in the amount of $1500 per semester to students who have earned an associate's degree with a minimum of a 3.30 grade point average in the past year, and who wish to pursue a bachelor's degree on a full-time basis at DeVry either onsite or online. DeVry Dean's Scholarships

Purpose: Awards to high school seniors who apply to DeVry University who have SAT scores of 1100 or higher or ACT scores of 24 or higher. There is no separate scholarship application, any application for admittance to DeVry University will be reviewed for qualifying scores. Applications must be received by July 1st. Qualif.: Applicant must be: full-time student. High school students considered. Award available to U.S. citizens.

DeVry Grant for Surviving Dependents of Rescue Workers, Civil Servants and Military Personnel

Purpose: Grant program for surviving dependents of rescue workers, civil servants and military personnel killed by injuries sustained from September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks. Full tuition scholarship at any DeVry location. Must be U.S. citizen or eligible non-citizen. 2.75 GPA must be maintained. DeVry High School Community Scholars Award

Purpose: Scholarships to approximately 4700 graduates from public high schools in the 24 metropolitan areas served by DeVry's campuses. Recipients of this award must demonstrate proficiency in mathematics and rank in the top fifty percent of their class. Qualif.: Applicant must be: full-time student. High school students considered. Award available to U.S. citizens.

DeVry/Keller Military Service Grant

Purpose: Grant is available to students called to active duty at a time which necessitates the interruption of studies during a term. The grant is available only to those students who resume their studies following their active duty service. Upon resuming their studies, students must provide written documentation of active duty service. The grant is to be used during the first term the student resumes. Qualif.: High school students not considered. Award available to U.S. citizens.

DeVry Presidential Scholarships

Purpose: Two full-tuition scholarships are awarded by each of the 24 DeVry University campuses each year. Contenders are chosen from those who receive a Dean's Scholarship. Winners are determined by committees at each campus on the basis of their academic records, SAT or ACT scores, and an essay on a topic chosen by the committee. Qualif.: Applicant must be: full-time student. High school students considered. Award available to U.S. citizens.
