Army ROTC Historically Black Colleges and Universities Program

(Four Year College, University/Scholarship)

Purpose: One-time award for students attending college for the first time or freshmen in a documented five-year degree program. Must attend a historically black college or university and must join school's ROTC program. Must pass physical. Must have a qualifying SAT or ACT score. Applicant must be at least 17 by college enrollment and under 31 years of age in the year of graduation. Qualif.: Applicant must be: 17-30 years old, full-time student. High school students not considered. Award available to U.S. citizens. Award available to members of the following branches of the military: Army, Army National Guard.

Funds Avail.: Minimum no. of awards: 180. Maximum no. of awards: 250. Minimum award amount: $5000. Maximum award amount: $16000. No. and Amount Awarded Last Calendar Year: $1,750,000 total. Army ROTC Two-Year, Three-Year and Four-Year Scholarships for Active Duty Army Enlisted Personnel

(Four Year College, University/Scholarship)

Purpose: Award for freshman, sophomore, and junior year for use at a four-year institution for Army enlisted personnel. Merit considered. Must also be member of the school's ROTC program. Must pass physical and have completed two years of active duty. Applicant must be at least 17 years of age by college enrollment and under 31 years of age in the year of graduation. Submit recommendations from Commanding Officer and Field Grade Commander. Include DODMERB Physical Forms and DA Form 2A. Qualif.: Applicant must be: 17-30 years old, full-time student. High school students not considered. Award available to U.S. citizens. Award available to members of the following branches of the military: Army, Army National Guard.

Dedicated Military Junior College Program

(Two Year College/Scholarship)

Purpose: One-time award for high school graduates who wish to attend a two-year military junior college. Must serve simultaneously in the Army National Guard or Reserve and qualify for the ROTC Advanced Course. Must have a minimum GPA of 2.5. Must also be 18 years of age by October 1 and under 27 years of age on June 30 in the year of graduation. On-line application available. Deadline: August 25. Must be used at one of five military junior colleges. Qualif.: Applicant must be: 18-26 years old, full-time student. High school students not considered. Award available to U.S. citizens. Award available to members of the following branches of the military: Army National Guard.

Minimum 2.5 GPA required. Professor of military science must submit application. Applicant must be at least 17 when enrolled in college and under 31 years of age in the year of graduation. Deadline is December 1. Qualif.: Applicant must be: 17-30 years old, full-time student. High school students not considered. Award available to U.S. citizens. Award available to members of the following branches of the military: Army, Army National Guard.
