Must work within the State of Connecticut for two years following graduation. Focus: Biology; Chemical Engineering; Computer Science/Data Processing; Earth Science; Electrical Engineering/Electronics; Engineering/Technology; Mechanical Engineering; Natural Sciences; Materials Science, Engineering, and Metallurgy; Physical Sciences and Math Qualif.: Applicant must be: full-time student. High school students considered. Award available to U.S. citizens.

Purpose: One-time award of $1000 to $3000, given to full-time students who have received a Federal Stafford Loan guaranteed by Connecticut Student Loan Foundation. Must be a U.S. citizen and a resident of Connecticut. Award will be paid directly to the recipient's Stafford Loan lender and will be applied to the loan balance. Qualif.: Applicant must be: full-time student. High school students not considered. Award available to U.S. citizens.
