Congressional Black Caucus Spouses Education Scholarship Fund

(Four Year College, Two Year College, University, Vocational/Occupational/Scholarship)

Purpose: Award made to students who reside or attend school in a Congressional district represented by an African-American member of Congress. Contact the Congressional office in the appropriate district for information and applications. Any correspondence sent to the CBC Foundation Office on Pennsylvania Avenue will be discarded and may disqualify applicant for the award. See Web site for more details: http://www.cbcfinc.org. Qualif.: Applicant must be: full-time student. High school students not considered. Award available to U.S. citizens.

Funds Avail.: Minimum no. of awards: 200. Minimum award amount: $500. Maximum award amount: $4000. No. and Amount Awarded Last Calendar Year: 200 scholarship(s), totalling $700,000. (Four Year College, Two Year College, University, Vocational/Occupational/Scholarship)

Purpose: Award made to students who reside or attend school in a congressional district represented by an African-American member of Congress. Must be full-time undergraduate enrolled in health-related program. Minimum 2.5 GPA required. Contact the congressional office in the appropriate district for information and applications. Focus: Health Administration; Health and Medical Sciences; Health Information Management/Technology Qualif.: Applicant must be: full-time student. High school students not considered. Award available to U.S. citizens.

Purpose: Award made to students who reside or attend school in a congressional district represented by an African-American member of Congress. Must be full-time student enrolled in a performing arts program. Minimum 2.5 GPA required. Contact the congressional office in the appropriate district for information and applications. Award available to U.S. citizens.

Sailing for Scholars Scholarship

Preference is given to applicants studying in the fields of hospitality, marine sciences, or the environment.
