Purpose: Up to three scholarships available to undergraduate seniors who are members of the Canadian Society for Chemistry and who have achieved excellence in organic chemistry or biochemistry. Students must be nominated and submit a project report. U.S. citizens must be enrolled in a Canadian university. Focus: Applied Sciences Qualif.: Applicant must be: full-time student. Applicants must be members of the Canadian Society for Chemical Engineering. One-time award of CAN$1000 and up to CAN$750 in travel expenses. SNC LAVALIN Plant Design Competition

Purpose: One prize available for students enrolled in an undergraduate chemical engineering program at a Canadian university. Entries should include a flowsheet and summary, a final report, list of students involved, and the name of any collaborating organization. A letter authorizing the release of information in "Canadian Chemical News" is also required. Projects will be presented at the Canadian Chemical Engineering Conference by the Canadian Society for Chemical Engineering. One-time prize of CAN$1000.
