John D. Issacs Scholarship

(Four Year College, University/Scholarship)

Purpose: The scholarship provides $3000 for each of four years and is open to any high school junior or senior in California who is considering a career in marine science. Applicant must enter a marine science project in a regional or county science fair in their junior or senior year and in their senior year must have applied to (and by the following fall have enrolled in) a four-year college or university in California. Focus: Biology; Earth Science; Engineering/Technology; Natural Resources; Natural Sciences; Marine Biology Qualif.: Applicant must be: 16-18 years old, full-time student. High school students considered. Award available to U.S. citizens.
