Association of California Water Agencies Scholarships

(Four Year College, University/Scholarship)

Purpose: There are 6-8 $1500 awards available to juniors and seniors that are California residents attending California universities. Must be in a water-related field of study. Students applying can be transferring to a university from a junior college as long as they will be a junior in the fall. Focus: Applied Sciences; Biology; Civil Engineering; Environmental Science; Hydrology; Natural Resources; Natural Sciences; Surveying; Surveying Technology, Cartography, or Geographic Information Science Qualif.: Applicant must be: full-time student. High school students not considered. Award available to U.S. citizens.

Clair A. Hill Scholarship

Purpose: The Clair A. Hill award scholarship is administered by a different member agency each year. The guidelines vary by administering agency and therefore it is best to contact ACWA for information. Generally, winner is in a water-related field of study. Must be a resident of California enrolled in a California four-year college or university. Focus: Applied Sciences; Biology; Civil Engineering; Environmental Science; Hydrology; Natural Resources; Natural Sciences; Surveying; Surveying Technology, Cartography, or Geographic Information Science Qualif.: Applicant must be: full-time student. High school students not considered. Award available to U.S. citizens.
