Robert E. Altenhofen Memorial Scholarship

(Four Year College, Two Year College, University/Scholarship)

Purpose: One-time award is available for undergraduate or graduate study in theoretical photogrammetry. Applicant must supply a sample of work in photogrammetry and a statement of plans for future study in the field. Must be a member of ASPRS. One scholarship of $2000. Focus: Engineering/Technology; Applied Sciences Qualif.: Applicant must be: full-time student. High school students not considered. Award available to U.S. citizens.

Purpose: Award facilitates graduate-level studies and career goals deemed to address new and innovative uses of remote sensing data/techniques that relate to the resources of the earth. Must be ASPRS member. Must submit statement of plans and goals. One scholarship of $2000. Focus: Physical Sciences and Math; Engineering/Technology; Applied Sciences Qualif.: Applicant must be: full-time student. High school students not considered.

Space Imaging Award for Application of High Resolution Digital Satellite Imagery

(Four Year College, University/Scholarship)

Purpose: Award for undergraduate or graduate students to stimulate development of applications of digital data through the granting of data for applied research. This is not a cash award. The award consists of data valued at up to $2,000, and a plaque inscribed with the recipient's name and his/her institution. Must be ASPRS member. Focus: Physical Sciences and Math; Applied Sciences; Engineering/Technology Qualif.: Applicant must be: full-time student. High school students not considered. Award available to U.S. citizens.

Winners required to provide a final report within one year to ASPRS. Focus: Applied Sciences; Surveying; Surveying Technology, Cartography, or Geographic Information Science Qualif.: High school students not considered.

Must be a member of ASPRS. Focus: Physical Sciences and Math; Applied Sciences; Engineering/Technology Qualif.: High school students not considered. Award available to U.S. citizens.
