Purpose: One-time award for active duty military personnel or veterans, their spouses or dependents who meet the general criteria for the General Paige Scholarship or civilians who meet the general criteria for the General Wickham Scholarship are eligible, provided the school they are attending is an accredited four-year college or university in the greater San Diego, California geographical area. Must be a sophomore or junior at the time of application. AFCEA Scholarship for Working Professionals
(Four Year College, Two Year College, University/Scholarship)
Purpose: Must be a U.S. citizen currently enrolled as a sophomore, junior or senior in an accredited U.S. school. Part time status is defined as enrollment in at least two classes per semester at any two- or four-year accredited U.S. college or university with a declared major in a science or technology degree program. Eligible majors include electrical, aerospace, or computer engineering, computer science, computer information systems, physics or mathematics. An overall GPA of 3.5 is required. Focus: Electrical Engineering/Electronics; Engineering/Technology; Computer Science/Data Processing; Physical Sciences and Math; Aviation/Aerospace Qualif.: Applicant must be: part-time student. Purpose: Applications are requested from men and women currently on active duty in the U.S. Marine Corps or U.S. Marine Corps men and women veterans who are honorably discharged and currently attending four-year colleges or universities in the U.S. Applications will be accepted from qualified sophomore, junior, and senior undergraduate students enrolled either part-time or full-time in an eligible degree program. The dean of the college of engineering at an accredited university in the U.S. may nominate one candidate. Only one candidate per university will be considered. Must be a U.S. citizen. Purpose: Award for persons on active duty in the uniformed military services or veterans, and their spouses or dependents. Must be enrolled full-time in four-year, accredited U.S. college or university and studying electrical engineering, computer science, computer engineering, physics, or mathematics. Must have a GPA of at least 3.4. Graduating high school seniors not eligible to apply, but veterans attending college full-time as freshman are eligible. All other applicants must be sophomores or juniors when applying. Spouses or dependents must be a sophomore or junior at the time of application. Deadline: March 1.
