American Speech-Language-Hearing Foundation Graduate Scholarship

Purpose: One-time award for full-time graduate students in communication sciences and disorders programs. Up to seven scholarships annually. Must submit up to ten page research plan, one page abstract, two page management plan and budget, and letter of support. All study must be done in the U.S. Deadline: June 4. Purpose: One-time award for full-time graduate student with a disability enrolled in a communication sciences and disorders program. Must demonstrate superior academic achievement and submit transcripts, essay and references with official application. Master's, but not doctoral, students must be enrolled in an ASHA Council on Academic Accreditation approved program. Focus: Therapy/Rehabilitation; Health and Medical Sciences; Audiology Qualif.: Applicant must be: full-time student. High school students not considered. Award available to U.S. citizens. Award intended for the blind, hearing impaired, physically handicapped, learning impaired.

Full-time study will be given priority; part-time status will be considered. Purpose: One-time award intended to advance the knowledge base in communication sciences and disorders. Must have PhD or equivalent research doctorate within the discipline. Students enrolled in a degree program or working on dissertation research are not eligible.
