Purpose: Award offered to support doctoral training in substance abuse research and prevention. Applicants must be American citizens or permanent resident aliens with an alien registration card, demonstrate a strong commitment to a career in substance abuse research related to ethnic minorities, and should be enrolled full time in a doctoral program (students not currently enrolled in a doctoral program may apply as long as they gain acceptance into a doctoral program for the fall term immediately following the application deadline.)
