(Four Year College, Two Year College, University, Vocational/Occupational/Scholarship)
Purpose: Scholarships available to high school seniors, college students, and veterans who are residents of Maine. Based on financial need and character. Must be in upper half of high school class. One-time award of $500. Qualif.: Applicant must be: full-time student. High school students not considered. Award available to U.S. citizens.

Purpose: One-time award for Maine high school juniors who participate in the current-year Boys State Program. Must attend Dirigo Boys State and be nominated by staff. Qualif.: Applicant must be: male, full-time student. High school students considered. Award available to U.S. citizens.

Purpose: One-time $500 award for a Maine resident whose parent is a member of the American Legion in Maine. Must be a U.S. citizen. Based on character and financial need. Minimum 2.5 GPA required. Qualif.: Applicant must be: full-time student. High school students not considered. Award available to U.S. citizens.

Applicant must show evidence of being enrolled, or attending accredited college or vocational technical school. Qualif.: Applicant must be: full-time student. High school students considered. Award available to U.S. citizens.
