American Legion Auxiliary Missouri State National President's Scholarship

(Four Year College, Two Year College, University, Vocational/Occupational/Scholarship)

Purpose: State-level award. Missouri Legion Auxiliary offers two $500 scholarships. To be eligible, applicant must complete 50 hours of community service during their high school years. Sponsoring Unit and Department must validate application. Applicant must be Missouri resident. Qualif.: High school students not considered. Award available to U.S. citizens. Award available to employees or relatives of employees within the following industries: community service.

Lela Murphy Scholarship

Applicant must be Missouri resident and the granddaughter or great-granddaughter of a living or deceased Auxiliary member. Sponsoring Unit and Department must validate application. Qualif.: Applicant must be: female. High school students considered. Award available to U.S. citizens.

Past Presidents Parley Scholarship-Missouri

(Four Year College, Two Year College, University, Vocational/Occupational/Scholarship)

Purpose: $500 scholarship awarded to high school graduate who has chosen to study nursing. $250 will be awarded each semester upon receipt of verification from the college that student is enrolled. The applicant must be a resident of Missouri and a member of a veteran's family. The applicant must be validated by the sponsoring unit. Check with sponsoring unit for details on required recommendation letters. Focus: Nursing Qualif.: High school students considered. Award available to U.S. citizens.
