American Legion Auxiliary Department of Indiana Past President Parley Nurses Scholarship

(Four Year College, Two Year College, University, Vocational/Occupational/Scholarship)

Purpose: Renewable scholarship for graduating high school senior female who is a child, grandchild, or great-grandchild of veteran who served during American Legion eligibility dates. Must be Indiana resident enrolled full-time in accredited undergraduate nursing program in Indiana. Focus: Nursing Qualif.: Applicant must be: female, full-time student. High school students considered. Award available to U.S. citizens.

Purpose: One-time award for child, grandchild, or great-grandchild of veteran who served during American Legion eligibility dates. Must be Indiana resident and graduating high school senior enrolled as full-time undergraduate at an accredited Indiana institution. Qualif.: Applicant must be: full-time student. High school students considered. Award available to U.S. citizens.

Funds Avail.: Minimum no. of awards: 3. Minimum award amount: $500. No. and Amount Awarded Last Calendar Year: 3 scholarship(s), totalling $1,500. Hoosier Schoolhouse Scholarship

Purpose: One-time award for Indiana residents who are high school seniors planning to continue their education. Award is primarily based on need. Contact local units for application and deadline information. Qualif.: High school students considered. Award available to U.S. citizens.
