A.T. Anderson Memorial Scholarship

(Four Year College, Two Year College, University/Scholarship)

Purpose: Award for full-time students majoring in math or science secondary education, engineering, science, business, medicine, or natural resources. Must be at least one-quarter American-Indian or Alaska Native or have tribal recognition, and be member of AISES. Deadline: June 15. Must have minimum 2.0 GPA. Focus: Applied Sciences; Biology; Earth Science; Physical Sciences and Math; Health and Medical Sciences; Business/Consumer Services; Meteorology/Atmospheric Science; Natural Resources; Natural Sciences; Nuclear Science Qualif.: Applicant must be: full-time student. High school students not considered. Award available to U.S. citizens. Award available to the following races: Native American/Eskimo.

Burlington Northern Santa Fe Foundation Scholarship

(Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: Award for high school senior for study of science, business, education, and health administration. Must reside in Arizona, Colorado, Kansas, Minnesota, Montana, North Dakota, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Oregon, South Dakota, Washington, or San Bernadino County, California. Must be at least one quarter American-Indian or Alaska Native and/or member of federally recognized tribe. Minimum 2.0 GPA required. Must be a current AISES member. Focus: Business/Consumer Services; Nuclear Science; Physical Sciences and Math; Health Administration; Applied Sciences; Biology; Meteorology/Atmospheric Science; Natural Sciences Qualif.: High school students considered. Award available to U.S. citizens. Award available to the following races: Native American/Eskimo.

Environmental Protection Agency Tribal Lands Environmental Science Scholarship

(Four Year College, University/Scholarship)

Purpose: Award for Native-American college juniors, seniors, or graduate students attending an accredited institution and studying full time in biochemistry, biology, chemical engineering, chemistry, entomology, environmental science, hydrology, or environmentally related disciplines. Deadline: June 15. Minimum 2.7 GPA required. Must be a current AISES member. Focus: Biology; Physical Sciences and Math; Chemical Engineering; Natural Sciences; Earth Science; Meteorology/Atmospheric Science Qualif.: Applicant must be: full-time student. High school students not considered. Award available to U.S. citizens. Award available to the following races: Native American/Eskimo.

General Motors Engineering Scholarship

(Four Year College, University/Scholarship)

Purpose: A $3000 scholarship will be given to a current AISES member. Must be a member of an American-Indian Tribe or otherwise be considered to be an American-Indian by the tribe with which affiliation is claimed. Must maintain a 3.0 GPA. Focus: Engineering-Related Technologies Qualif.: Applicant must be: full-time student. High school students not considered. Award available to U.S. citizens. Award available to the following races: Native American/Eskimo.

Henry Rodriguez Reclamation College Scholarship and Internship

(Four Year College, University/Scholarship)

Purpose: A $5000 scholarship will be given to a current AISES member. Must be enrolled full time in an accredited college or university. Must agree to serve an eight-to ten-week paid internship with the Bureau of Reclamation prior to graduation. Must maintain a 2.5 GPA. Must be seeking a BA in engineering or science, relating to water resources or an environmentally-related field. Focus: Engineering-Related Technologies; Environmental Science; Natural Resources; Natural Sciences Qualif.: Applicant must be: full-time student. High school students not considered.
