American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists Gateway Scholarship Program

(University/Scholarship)

Purpose: Awards of $4500 for research project, $500 to attend AAPS Annual Meeting. To encourage students to undertake pre-professional or undergraduate degree research experience. Letter from faculty sponsor and one other faculty member, official transcript, and test scores required. May be used in sophomore, junior, or senior year, or in last 3 years of PharmD program. Focus: Health and Medical Sciences Qualif.: Applicant must be: full-time student. High school students not considered.

Kappa Epsilon/AFPE/Nellie Wakeman First Year Graduate Fellowship

(Postgraduate, University/Fellowship)

Purpose: Applicant must be in final year of a pharmacy college BS or PharmD program or have completed a pharmacy degree. At time of application, the Kappa Epsilon member must be in good financial standing with the Fraternity and planning to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy degree, Masters degree, or combined Residency/Masters degree program at U.S. College or School of Pharmacy. Phi Lambda Sigma-Glaxo Wellcome-AFPE First Year Graduate Scholarship

Purpose: Applicant must be in final year of pharmacy college BS or PharmD program and be a member of Phi Lambda Sigma. Recipient will be invited to attend award ceremony during the Annual Meeting of Phi Lambda Sigma, held during the annual meeting of the American Pharmaceutical Association. U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status is required. Focus: Pharmacy Qualif.: Applicant must be: full-time student. High school students not considered. Award available to U.S. citizens.

Purpose: Applicant must be senior pharmacy student enrolled in dual-degree pathway leading to professional degree in pharmacy and the PhD program. Applicant may also be first year graduate student entering graduate PhD program at accredited school or college of pharmacy. Must be member of Rho Chi Honor society. Recipient will be invited to attend award ceremony during the Annual Meeting of Rho Chi, held during the annual meeting of the American Pharmaceutical Association.
