Victor and Margaret Ball Program
(Four Year College, Two Year College, University/Scholarship)
Purpose: Award for undergraduate students majoring in business, floriculture, and ornamental horticulture. A paid training experience for students who are interested in a "production related" career (growing), and up to a $6000 grant upon satisfactory completion of six months of training. Deadlines: March 1 for fall/winter training; November 1 for spring/summer training. Focus: Business/Consumer Services; Horticulture/Floriculture Qualif.: Applicant must be: full-time student. High school students not considered. Award available to U.S. citizens.

Mosmiller Scholar Program

Ten to sixteen weeks of paid training with floral retailers, wholesalers, and allied trades, in addition to a $2000 grant upon satisfactory completion. Deadlines: March 1st for fall and winter training; November 1 for spring and summer training. Focus: Business/Consumer Services; Horticulture/Floriculture Qualif.: Applicant must be: full-time student. High school students not considered. Award available to U.S. citizens.

Harold F. Wilkins Scholarship Program

Purpose: One-time award to aid and encourage students majoring in business, floriculture and ornamental horticulture, to have a floriculture internship outside the U.S. and to aid students who wish to travel to a foreign country to study the floriculture industry (convention, symposium, independent travel programs). Focus: Business/Consumer Services; Horticulture/Floriculture Qualif.: Applicant must be: full-time student. High school students not considered. Award available to U.S. citizens.
