Victor and Margaret Ball Program

(Four Year College, Two Year College, University/Scholarship)

Purpose: Award for undergraduate students majoring in business, floriculture, and ornamental horticulture. A paid training experience for students who are interested in a "production related" career (growing), and up to a $6000 grant upon satisfactory completion of six months of training. Deadlines: March 1 for fall/winter training; November 1 for spring/summer training. Focus: Business/Consumer Services; Horticulture/Floriculture Qualif.: Applicant must be: full-time student. High school students not considered. Award available to U.S. citizens.

Funds Avail.: Minimum no. of awards: 20. Minimum award amount: $1500. Maximum award amount: $6000. No. and Amount Awarded Last Calendar Year: 20 scholarship(s), totalling $85,000. Mosmiller Scholar Program

(Four Year College, Two Year College, University/Scholarship)

Purpose: Award for undergraduate students majoring in business, floriculture, and ornamental horticulture. Ten to sixteen weeks of paid training with floral retailers, wholesalers, and allied trades, in addition to a $2000 grant upon satisfactory completion. Deadlines: March 1st for fall and winter training; November 1 for spring and summer training. Focus: Business/Consumer Services; Horticulture/Floriculture Qualif.: Applicant must be: full-time student. High school students not considered. Award available to U.S. citizens.

Harold F. Wilkins Scholarship Program

(Four Year College, Postgraduate, Two Year College, University/Scholarship)

Purpose: One-time award to aid and encourage students majoring in business, floriculture and ornamental horticulture, to have a floriculture internship outside the U.S. and to aid students who wish to travel to a foreign country to study the floriculture industry (convention, symposium, independent travel programs). Focus: Business/Consumer Services; Horticulture/Floriculture Qualif.: Applicant must be: full-time student. High school students not considered. Award available to U.S. citizens.
